Are You New To Home Food Storage?

There are many sound and valid reasons for purchasing long-term storage and emergency preparedness foods. These foods are in fact, quite common and include such things as freeze-dried and dehydrated foods, noodles, macaroni, spaghetti, rice, beans, pancakes, bread mixes, muffins and much more. Many of the same foods you buy in the supermarket are the same foods we carry. Of course, our food is much cheaper, comes in bulk, and is packaged for extremely long shelf life and freshness.

Our approach is to simply sell the same foods you buy now, but in larger quantities, without fancy labels and packaging, and at prices significantly reduced compared to your local grocer. By reducing your dependency upon the supermarket, you will not only be well prepared for the future, but save money as well.

The time to prepare for the future is now!

Today, while you have the opportunity, is the time to prepare. The reason for preparation is precisely because you cannot predict the future. Just as you buy life insurance and invest your money, you also need to prepare your food and other emergency supplies. Even for those who choose to believe that a cataclysmic world catastrophy is not likely in the near future, preparation still makes sense. Experts warn that in the event of a disaster that disrupts transportation, grocery stores would be empty within three days. Personal emergencies can disrupt your ability to work and thus, cut off your salary. It is usually very difficult to predict the timing or nature of the things that will create difficulties for any given person. However, it is easy to predict that those difficulties will occur, and ironically, at the most inconvenient times. Food is one of those things that you literally cannot live without, and no amount of money no matter how large can buy food that does not exist. The time to act is now, while the opportunity, even if it is difficult or inconvenient, still exists. Even small actions are better than none at all.

Bulk Food Cost Less!

Bulk foods are concentrated. A single #10 can (gallon size) of Storage Prepared food contains a huge quantity of food. Comparatively speaking, this size can represent more than 80 servings from a single can, depending on the food. I’ll provide a common example: One one-gallon size can of dried milk produces five gallons of milk that you can drink, pour over cereal, or cook with. Try that with regular milk at the supermarket! Purchasing bulk foods is an economical way to save hundreds or even thousands of dollars. Instead of paying for fancy packaging in small quantities at much higher prices, bulk food purchases make your dollars really count. Our products come in individual cans, buckets or bags (up to 50 lbs) without those fancy labels and expensive packaging but with the same great quality you've come to expect.

Dehydrated foods have come a long way in the last few years. Coming close in flavor and texture to their more expensive freeze-dried cousins, these foods not only taste great but can often be prepared in the same amount of time it takes to prepare food purchased from the grocery store. We specialize in bulk foods. Unlike the smaller boxes you purchase in the grocery store, when you buy bulk from us your cost per pound or unit often drops significantly, sometimes as much as 3-8 times less per pound.

Long term shelf life - 7 - 30 years!

Shelf life for bulk foods in properly prepared cans or buckets is anywhere from 7 - 30 years!! No refrigeration required (if the power goes out, your food is still safe). Of course, shelf life is dependent upon factors, such as temperature, oxygen, moisture, and exposure to light. My family has some products that have been stored for over 35 years that are still as good as new.

Easily stored!

Freeze-dried and dehydrated food can be stored just about anyplace and will be ready when you need it. Even though our packages are larger then the store-bought variety, bulk foods can be easily stored just about anyplace. You can even keep your emergency food under your bed! If purchased in properly prepared cans or buckets, your food is quite safe from oxygen, moisture, dust, and rodents and insects!

Our food is concentrated, making storage a snap! You will need far less storage space for our foods than what you would require (or currently use) for supermarket foods. For example, a single can of dehydrated vegetables represents several cases of standard "wet pack" canned vegetables!

Investment!

Buying Long Term Storage food now is a sound financial investment. Food is now one of the largest single monthly purchases that consumers make. Yet the cost of food continues to rise each year. Inflation has traditionally taken an increasing toll on purchasing power. Now, however, with our government’s recent creation of several trillion dollars of debt and the upcoming (almost) trillion dollar economic stimulus bailout most likely to be implemented within the next few months, significantly higher rates of inflation are guaranteed for the moderately near future. Purchasing food in bulk quantities maximizes your return by buying food for the future at today's prices. Strategies such as this can save you hundreds, even thousands of dollars because "what you buy today will cost more tomorrow".

Nutrition!

Studies have shown that dehydrated foods are substantially more nutritious then either frozen or canned foods. The loss is only about 3 - 5% of the original nutritional value of the food, making this method of food preservation by far the best choice for natural, healthy eating. Freeze-dried and dehydrated foods also retain most of their nutritional value without the added chemicals and additives found in store-bought foods. Because many bulk foods are packaged in a nearly oxygen free environment, there is no need for additives or preservatives to keep the food fresh.
